In reviewing the website, I cannot find anything that confirms this service and am now concerned that this sale may be a scam attempt. Does Yahoo Finance offer such a service? If not, who should I report the fraud to?

(1) I do not know how to send my assignment for approval the design by safest way (in terms of exposing an idea-is there any mediator to receive the job and get approval from the client and give payment ?) How do I start a HOME CARE Provider Service? I want to be able to accept Medicare, Medicade, & Private Insurance. Where do I get the information to become a provider for those groups? To be able to bill the government for payment.
Is it possible to have a DVR without a video service provider? My brother's ole reliable VCR has now kicked the bucket and he's looking to invest in a DVR, but he doesn't want to have to make monthly payments on some service provider like TiVo. He's mainly looking for a standard recorder. Something that will record his shows so he can watch them later after work. Is there a DVR that can do that without having to have a payment plan with some service provider or waste money burning DVD's for something he's just going to watch once?
How do I get my old Internet Service Provider to stop taking money from my bank account? I'm not sure whether to put this question in 'Legal' or 'Internet' but my old ISP keeps taking money from my account even though I don't use them any more. My bank won't cancel the payments and I've given trying to cancel over the phone. So in effect, I'm paying for two ISPs but only using one of them. It's a case of knowing what my rights are, I think, and knowing what to say over the phone etc. Can anyone help please?
Under Finance Act are there any decisions that Service Tax can be passed on to the tenant/licensee? In India Service Tax is made applicable to renting immoveable properties from 01.06.2007. The license agreements which are signed / concluded before the imposition did not contemplate for payment of service tax. The Finance Act now casts liability for payment of service tax on the Landlord or the Licensor. If in the concluded agreements the tenants or the licensee have not agreed to bear the service tax and refuses to pay it casts additional burden on the Licensor/ Landlord. While introducing the new provision the concluded contracts are not taken into account. There is no source for the landlord to pass on the service tax to the tenant whilst avery other service provider e.g. Telecommunication (Govt., Semi Govt. and Private), Hotels, Airliners etc. pass on the tax to the end users.
Can I sue my cell provider if they disconnect my service without cause? Made a payment arrangement with cell service and was promised that the service would not be disconnected. It is the only phone I have. I was waiting on a job offer. Can I sue the cell company if I lose out on the job if they disconnected the service, and they admitted it was their mistake. I use Alltel, BTW.
Can I sue my tax filing service provider if he hasnt filed at all and neighter informed me he'd be late? My tax filing service provider took all information from me, sent me a draft, took payment for all tax service and told that he'd send a doc to be signed by me (same as draft) and then he'll e-file it. Now last date has passed and he neighter sent the mail, nor filed for extension nor replied to my email I sent him. Can I sue him? since I am at financial loss and I'll have to pay to some other provider to get this done, plus IRS penalties in form of interest. Plus I have been very tensed those days waitied for his mail to come and I arranged fedex to quickly return it same day. Its been a real pain for me. I dont intend to defame him, but to ask for persosnal opinions and views from you and then I can go and ask for legal assistance.
Can a phone company refuse you the option of making payment arrangments? I live in canada and have Bell canada as a telephone service provider, funds have been very tight and i am 3 months past due on my phone bill, i called to make payment arrangements and the credit services department refused my arrangments and said that i had to pay the entire past due amout at one time with a credit card(which i dont have) or a checking account which i do have but do not have the funds. Is there a more crap service provider than Virgin Media? I have not had a bill since April. My £30 package costs me £60, but still no bill. They phone me up towards the end of the month saying they will cut my TV and phone off unless I pay them. They charge me £5 for paying by cash. And impose a £10 late-payment fee, although they have not sent me a bill. I tried to terminate the contract; I have been with them, and their predecessor for over ten years, but am told I cannot get out of the contract until October. So I have to pay up. The Supervisor will call me back - their computer is down - but they never do. Is there a more crap service on the planet?
Do you still have to pay childcare if you call social services on your provider? My neighbor owes her childcare provider about a month or two of childcare payments. Her childcare provider was being very nice and told her to pay her as she can since she hit a rough spot. Well it has been two months, my neighbor has not paid her, and she has the money to pay her. Her childcare provider has asked for some kind of payment. My neighbor believes if she calls CPS or social services on her provider and make false allegations then she will not have to pay her the money owed. Is this true or can her provider still get a warrant for the money owed. Her childcare provider has done nothing wrong and has helped her so many times. She just does not want to pay.
How to make payment if my bank account number changed? The last 4 digits of my bank account number has been changed. I have 3 websites with Yahoo domain. When it comes up for renew, I can't make the payment because it keeps telling me that my bank information is wrong. Why is AOL billing me almost a year after cancelling service? How do I stop them? I already had a service provider, but I signed up for AOL temporarily so I could talk my mom through "that scary internet thing." I figured I'd pay it for a month or two until she got the hang of hers, and then cancel. We've all heard the horror stories about quiting, so I'll just say that those folks are right. But I just got a letter from a collection agency?! What? On behalf of AOL for deliquent payments. I haven't received any bill or call or anything on their part, just this. My only solace came in stumbling across folks with the same problem (http://www.consumeraffairs.com/internet/aol_cancel.html) so at least I know it's not a fluke occurrance. I'm afraid this is going to ruin my credit rating, and I haven't done anything wrong. What can I do to fix this? Should I really just pay this phony charge and hope that's finally the end of it? Sorry for the broken link above, never posted one before. It's http://www.consumeraffairs.com/internet/aol_cancel.html Sorry again! I see lots of folks are having the same line of thought so I wasn't clear enough in my description. I've most definately called them, both back then and when I got this notice. I've called them twice so far this time around. The first time they said that they weren't able to share that information; the second time they transfered me to their manager, which was a dead line. I should note that both calls they tried to get me to join again.
What can a parent do to make child care easier on a provider? I'm thinking outside of the standards of raising children. Every provider would like a child with good manners, that is well kept and payment for services w/out having to remind parents often. Also, consistent drop off & pick up times are all standard procedure for my home care provider. My previous daycare provider created some bad feelings, and I'd like my current provider to be happy watching my little guy. Thanks
Is VAT payable on money received based on the Late Payment Act? If you receive a payment based on interest accrued under the late payment act., is this payment VAT able as a service you have provided. Afterall all the costs paid by a customer to the provider, whether interest payments or otherwise are linked to the service. Should I show VAT chargeable on the interest when submitting a bill with a late payment interest charge
Accounting entry when paying bills for my customers? I'm managing a wireless store and offers bill payment to our customers by using a third party online bill payment provider. A customer walks in my store, and wants to pay his/her bill. So I receive their billed amount + service fee and send the bill amount for this customer using the third party bill payment service provider. Here's my question. Should I enter the billed amount + service fee my store revenue? I guess the billed amount would be my cost of sales then, right? Or should I just put the service fee as a commission. Or any other ways? Thank you very much in advance! My question is:
My Dad is in dispute with Virgin Media over poor service provision whats the best thing to do? They have been providing little or no service over the past couple of months for a few reasons. 1.local faults in his area 2.faulty box 3.Engineer came and ripped up some cable outside his house and left it hanging out and the telephone and tv service went off for over a week. 4.Engineers not turning up on days booked He has had a pretty poor service from them all in all but they are still charging him in full for two months during which time he had virtually little or no services. He is refusing to pay them and the bill stands at over £150 quid, they have now cut off his services completely because of non payment. I can't see how he is going to win this argument. He has also signed up with BT for a telephone line without informing virgin media who require 28 days notice to cancel there services, but because there is money outstanding I don't think they will accept the cancellation anyway. Can he win? or is it better to just pay up and change service provider It has cost him a lot in mobile phone bills from having to constantly call their customer service centre when the phone has been off, and days off work because he is self employed.
Can my electric service provider cut off my electricity even if I have a newborn in the house? Well, long story short. Roomates screwed me and my husband over and skipped out on the $800 electric bill that THEY ran up. Can't get them to pay. Husband laid off. Baby 5 weeks old. If I don't get $520 by today they are coming to cut it off. I live in Oklahoma and it is FREEZING here!!! The high for tomorrow is 26 in my area!!! I called them, I can't make a payment plan because they said I was too late to make one. So can they cut it off? I heard they couldn't if you had a baby, or if the high for the day was below freezing and electricity is your primary source of heat. I don't know what to do and I won't have that money for a long time.
Could an Internet Service Provider be held liable for promoting a product they know is illegal and harmful? ? I have a bee in my bonnet about Yahoo Answers. Next to most questions about HIV testing, Yahoo Answers inserts "sponsored links" (i.e paid advertisements) to websites selling fake "home HIV tests". These tests are not FDA approved, and it is illegal to offer them for sale in the US and every other country of the world that I am aware of. The sites are an obvious scam. Selling unapproved and fake medical devices is a crime in many countries, and is certainly actionable under tort law for the undoubted harm they cause. I have warned Yahoo about these paid advertisements repeatedly, but they appear have taken no action to remove them. As their sales agent, could Yahoo be sued for knowingly promoting (for payment) an illegal and harmful product?
Dear All, I recently used the BuyButtonz payment service and now they owe my company $71,110.28 SGD, how now? I only signed up because I saw BuyButtonz on eNETS. Although the VP of eNETS has so kindly promised to ensure that he will see that the owners of BuyButtonz which is CHAINFUSION LTD will resolve this, CHAINFUSION LTD keeps giving me bounced checks!!! None of their checks went thru! This is completely unprofessional as a merchant account provider! They owed me Feb and March 08 Payouts and I even made the director sign an agreement to promise me that the checks won't bounce! But they STILL BOUNCED! I hope the Singapore Officials will see to this FRAUD Company! I won't stop till everyone is aware of this merchant account provider and not fall into the horrid situation I am in now. I have bosses to answer to, people to pay, bills and taxes to pay. They can't just take the monies that belong to us and leave us with their phony checks and false hope of finally receiving it and then crush our hope when the checks BOUNCE. If You Can Help Me Get My Money Back From BUYBUTTONZ Please HELP!!
Can a medical provider bill different amounts to different insurance companies? I previously worked for a doctors office who billed in a way that I thought was wrong. The billing staff would bill Medicare 1 amount for an office visit (say $93.00 for a level 2 E&M) and then would only bill $75.00 to a group insurance, and would bill workers comp $105 for the exact same service. Can a medical provider legally do this? It has always been my understanding that you have to bill all insurance companies the same amount no matter who they are and you have to adjust off the difference of the contracted rate/payment. If this is illegale what would the penalties be (Texas) for a provider doing this? I recently quit working for this medical practice, but I just can't get over the thought that they are doing this totally wrong and could get into a lot of trouble. Apparently though, they have been doing this since they opened back 1995. Any REAL input on this, say a certified medical biller or medical office manager's input would be nice.
Can my OB/GYN require payment BEFORE service? I'm 37 weeks pregnant. I am a stay at home mom and my husband is a government employee and his employer carries our insurance. My deductable is $200 and my out of pocket maximum is $1000. My insurance pays 80% after the deductable is paid until I reach my out of pocket max then they pay 100%. My OB is a "preferred provider" so my insurance company won't be paying his standard charges, they will negotiate. At my 2nd prenatal appointment I was given a sheet outlining what I would owe the doctor out of pocket - my $200 deductable plus 20% of all charges totalling over $900, so almost my ENTIRE out of pocket max. will be tied up in these payments I've made to his office. My concern is that when the bills start rolling in for the birth of this baby from the hospital, anesthesiologist, ect. that I will OWE some of them since he has my money, unless he really quickly submits his claim and marks it paid. Can he legally make me pay all this BEFORE he even delivers the baby? He wasn't giving me the cost upfront, he actually requires payment upfront. They set up a payment plan and I've been making monthly payments each month for my entire pregnancy for everything - the office visits and the delivery fees. I guess I'm getting annoyed because I've made about $600 in payments to him so far, and I've paid my deductable when I had my labwork done so that shouldn't be included in what I owe him upfront AND my insurance will surely negotiate the charges in the end but they are STILL asking for more money at my appointments while I'm feeling as though I should pretty well be paid up with them. It just doesn't seem right that they can require me to pay for the DELIVERY of the baby upfront.

I want to start a new political party, how do i do it ? I would like to do this in the U.K and would like to know every thing that i need to know to start this up. I want to form a new national political party, but I would like some additional information before I dive into the process. A few items that could help me out: 1. What "red tape" must I go through to form this party? More specifically, will I need to register with any federal or state agency(s)? Keep in mind that I will be soliciting (via email, direct mail, and telephone) donations for the party. It might be a relavant fact in answering this question that the party's headquarters will initially be located in Baton Rouge, Louisiana. It will, however, be a national party. Along the same lines of this question, do I need to register as a not-for-profit organization? How? Basically, this question is an attempt to find out what (if any) forms and registrations I need to complete to form a national political party. Please spend the most amount of time on this question because if we as a party do something wrong here we could be breaking the law! I'd hate for the party to fall apart or be sued because we forgot to fill out some random form. 2. On the issue of donations, what are my options for people submitting donations online? What are the best payment service providers on the Internet. I know of PayPal, but are there others that might be better for this particular purpose of political contributions? 3. On that same note, I am preparing an initial e-mail that will be introducing the party and seeking contributions to get the party going. How can I get this email to a large (1mil or more), nationwide group of people? Of course, I'll be sending the email to everyone in my address book, and hopeful that they'll do the same, so on and so on, creating a snowball effect. But, is there also a way to get (or buy) lists of random email addresses that it would be legal to send out an email such as this to? I've looked on the internet, and it appears that one can buy such a thing of lists where people have opted in ... so, what service should I go through to buy this list of email addresses. Which service is the best? Things to consider: I want the email read, not sent directly to people's junk mail box. I want the email sent to as many people as possible up front and then just hope our ideas create a snowball affect. 4. Who should I get to build the party's website, which I hope will be state-of-the art? More specifically, what firms are rated highest in web development? 5. What are some of the top-notch marketing firms that could help in "branding" the party? Here, we're lookign for top-rated firms that specialize in political campaigns. Answers to the questions above would certainly be helpful. However, please feel free to throw any any other information/advice/tips that might be helpful in forming a political party. By no means limit yourself to the specific questions above, because Any and all information on the issue of "forming a political party" would be a great help. I would like to do this in the U.K and would like to know every thing that i need to know to start this up. Can any one help me ?????
Can my bank charge me for placing a stop payment on a check that online bill pay sent that is lost? I pay my bills every month through ez-bill payment service that is provided by my credit union First Financial Federal Credit Union. The service is provided by an outside provider ez-bill payment service. In this case I paid my car payment. Bank of America (the loan holder) never recieved the check. They apparently sent a check via mail to bank of america. The check has not gotten their and it has been almost 12 days. I have never had this problem. The bank informed me that to place a stop payment on the check I would have to pay a fee. I realize when a check I mail is lost that I must pay this fee but can they really pass this fee on to me in this case? They say they are just passing the fee on that the bill pay service passed on to them. But if the Bill pay service lost it in the first place do I have any recourse here? Or should I just pay the fee. If it was my error I would gladly pay it but banks always screw the customer even when they aren't wrong. I am sick of it.
How safe is online payment? Do the service providers record clients' key words used for financial transactions ? How secure is so called secured sites with lock symbol? Pl tell me the precautions to be taken in online purchase. Is there any alternate channel of payment?
Can anyone recommend a good hosted ecommerce provider (UK)? I'm looking for a new host for my online shop. I would like a product that I manage myself (upload products etc) with options for customisation. I am based in the UK so if using a US-based host their product must be suitable for the UK market too. Ideally, it would cost no more than £50/month with no minimum contract. I would like to add around 1000 products. Can anyone recommend a good provider of such a service? Preferably, it will work with Protx as a payment provider. Many thanks for your help!
Blue Cross and Blue Sheild re-adjust a bill from two years ago. Telling me I own a provider more money. WHAT? Today in the mail, my heath insurance sent me a letter saying- THE CLAIN FOR THIS PATIENT WAS REVIEWED BASED ON ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RECEIVED. WE HAVE COMPLETED AND ADJUSTMENT, AND HAVE DETERMINED THAT AN ADDITIONAL PAYMENT IS NOT AVAILABLE. **YOUR TOTAL REPONSIBILITY TO THE PROVIDER OF SERVICES IS $105.96 * Do I have pay this money, since it been two years ago? CAN THEY WRITE IT OFF? What does ADDITIONAL INFORMATION RECIVED mean? HELP! THIS IS NOT RIGHT.

I have an outstading collection from Verizon but this account is not mine? I recently received a Copy of my credit Report and I noticed that i have an outstanding collection with Verizon... This is my telephone service provider, I don't understand why if i have always made my payments on time, and currently receiving service, how can I compalin about this and how do i clear out of my credit report, I called the collection agency and they said to make the payment and then dispute, that's dumb to do do but will it be the best bet?
Is received discount come under indirect income? Our service provider issued us invoice for Rs. 100000.00 against air freight charges. We raised invoice for the same alongwith charges for sold goods to our buyer and our buyer made payment against it. Later on our service proider issued us credit note for Rs.1000/- agaisnt their bill for Rs. 1 lac. So, will this amount(Rs.1000/-) come under indirect income in out account book?
Can anybody explain why US cellphone users are apparently charged for incoming calls/texts? Here is UK, it is the person making the call or sending the text that is charged. There is no charge whatsoever to the person receiving the call or text unless they are using their phone outside of the UK (international roaming). On several occasions, friends in US have asked me not to call/text them at certain times because they will be charged. Why should they be charged when I have already paid for the call/text? A very basic UK cellphone plan might cost £25 per month with 300 inclusive voice minutes and 100 texts. These inclusive minutes and texts are not affected in any way by incoming calls/texts. Even if a person's service has been restricted due to non-payment so they cannot make calls or send texts, they can still receive calls/texts normally. It really seems like US cellphone users are being screwed by their service providers in the sense of being charged for a facility that is free everywhere else.
Daycare Provider took money and provided no service.? I have kids who need daycare 2 days a week for three hours from 5AM-8-8:30AM. I met a woman who appeared to be very nice mother of three, with a contract defining expectations from both parties. When we initially sought her service we explained we have no family or friends in the area, and we need atleasta two week notice of resignation. Short she did not open the door, my husband missed work, she claimed her schedule was wrong. Husband wanted to pay for two weeks discontinue service, told her I would try to convince him to get over miscommunication. Would call and have definite answer. That evening she called and left a voice mail stating she would no longer be able to provide services. However she cashed my checks for services.I had only a one day notice to find other arrangements. Also many places require two weeks up front and a registration fee.We have the money, but it is principle. She cashed the checks stopping payment not option.I am writting a letter to her any other options?
How long does a medical provider have to obtain payment when I already gave them my credit card number? My husband received services in June 2007 at a chiropractor and we were billed $92.50, which I paid with my credit card. I now in May 2008 received a letter that says that while I submitted my credit card information to them, there was a discrepancy and I owe. They want me to sign the authorization to re-bill the credit card. I'm currently working with my credit card company to check past statements to ensure that the the payment DIDN'T actually go through before I pay them again. Should I pay them? Isn't 10 months a long time for them to have before they realize this?
What rights do i have to receive timely payment as an independent contractor? I work for an agency providing counseling services for the Dept. of family & children services. DFCS contracts services from this agency and the agency contacts me to assign a client & I provide counseling to this client for the duration of the time DFCS has a case open on them. The agency I work for is not unique. In my state alone there are close to 100 other providers of the same service. However, my agency does not pay me for my services consistently. I receive a paycheck from anywhere between 3-8 (& sometimes longer) weeks after I submit my paperwork and billing info to the agency (who in turn submit to DFCS & they pay out for our services). Other agencies pay their employees (or contractors, I guess is more correct) monthly, every month, on time. I believe there is something suspect happening with the agency I with, but I can't prove it. I think the owner is holding money to collect interest and paying contractors at last minute, or some other unethical scenario. Advice?
How far is "long distance" in a landline context? Here in UK, we have only three types of landline phone service. First, there is full service - the facility to dial direct within UK and to overseas numbers. Second, there is restricted service which means the line can receive incoming calls but not make outgoing calls (this can be imposed by the service provider temporarily or be an option chosen by the customer), Finally, there is of course no service (you have been disconnected for non payment). I'm just curious to know how US landline service providers define long distance. Is the facility to call "long distance" something provided as standard (but can be withdrawn either temporarily or permanently) or is it something that has to be applied for?
